I didn't realize we had two ambulance services here now, a new one besides Rural Metro.
I saw a Guardian Ambulance pulling out of my apartment complex while ago and said well it's time I was asking if anyone here has a frequency on them for Abilene.
They used to have the non-emergency transfer contract here in Mineral Wells.
I never found out what radio system they use.
They don't appear to have any FCC licenses.
They probably use private trunked systems or Nextel or something.
Just as a bit of info most agencies mine included use nextel for comms but rumor again is nextel to go oos so stands to reason that there will be many new radio freqs out there. Good luck buddy happy scanning
