Exclamation Okay guys, Lee County question.........

Have had some questions raised about Lee County. They rebanded recently, and as such many scanner owners will have to enter custom tables to scan it properly. I just want to verify that the system is only rebanded and has not been absorbed into the Greater Austin system.

Mark,

While this is some news for us, it doesn't resolve (technically) whether they joined GATRRS or not. Would you be able/willing to give us some control channel information?

When paused on the control channel can you give us the information that your scanner flashes? Specifically, we'd like to know SysID and the WACN. Even a Site number could help a lot.

With this info we can see if it is a stand alone system or part of GATRRS (which is the way I would think this is leaning).

I don't have a P 25 radio so I can't give you all the information you ask for. .Listing to the frequencies in the database 851.65Mhz has the sound of a P 25 data channel and the control channel is 853.725Mhz.showing the 6C2D system ID. Here in Caldwell I am not able to here any Austin or Travis county systems. There are no voice transmissions that I can decode on this system. All licensed frequencies show that when a transmission is made the radio makes the sound of a P 25 digital transmission. I wish I could be more help but that is all the information I have.

Hmm... that's the same SysID as their old analog system. That helps a little, thanks. Someone will get through soon with a P25 scanner.

This was posted on the FCC updates this past week. I'm sure it's related to rebanding.

Excellent, it is part of GATRRS! Its site number falls right after the Caldwell County sites and it's talkgroups are the last in the sequential list that is in the RR DB. Peered with Burleson Manor IR, Bastrop County, Fayette County, Williamson County Simulcast and Bastrop Simulcast (according to UniT).

Have you submitted this site yet UniTrunker?

Rick,

Looks like we were in there at the same time. I backed mine out.

I was about to say the same. Thanks.

I heard some police dispatches on 5840 / 5843 but don't know the area well enough to distinguish county from Giddings PD.
