Default Is Abilene PD listenable?

I noticed that Abilene PD has been recently been added with some talkgroups. Are they listenable with a digital scanner or are they still encrypted?

Abilene police might be able to be monitored, but since the EDACS system does include ProVoice, you might not be able to because no scanners can monitor ProVoice.

You can listen with a receiver and some software, and that's how some users have chosen to "get around" the ProVoice. Search our wiki for "DSD" and you'll see what I'm talking about.

All Abilene PD talkgroups are Pro-voice, as are a few of Abilene FD's as well.
