I'd like to offer my help in resolving any issues you may have, you offer some good submissions, and I'd hate for the community to miss out on the information. In the meantime, I'll take this information and incorporate it.

Thanks for all the help. I have most of the talkgroups already. I have never heard anyone using some of the talkgroups before.

thank you

i get a hold of alot of san antonio area radios
and read the info and inspect the retrived data
and try to pass on the data to the RR Database
i have been into the radio hobby for a long time since
i was 18yoa now i am 38yoa and have boxes full of paperwork
tablets and maps and all sort of info

about posting i thought my city post was over looked due
to the unusal talkgroup (-------) and was not posted
but it got added today and the other thing that tee-d
me off was the editing of text tags that were abv
and i had no discription of i will still post info to RR Databse

Just so there is no misunderstanding with site policy, the purpose of the RR AlphaTag field is to describe in 12 characters or less Who, What, Where. Specifically we don't want to use whatever the local entity has programmed into a real radio because although it may mean something to that entity, it means nothing to a more macro audience. Take the items you posted above, if you were to look at a scanner readout that said "EVENT 1" with no other reference, can you tell who or where? Assuming that was a Live Oak PD channel then "LOakPD Evnt1" is a far superior alpha tag.

I have monitored the live oak system dailey since i live in the Selma area and always have it scanning for new talkgroups..I have submitted a few new ones that have popped up but the RR database is pretty much up to date. Only big thing I have seen that has changed is Schertz EMS patching new talkgroups to the vhf channel and Schertz fire using a new talkgroup., which they are all patched to the vhf channel anyways which is kinda of confusing.

The Schertz Fire Department is using Schertz Fire TAC 1 for daily ops. The dispatcher doesn't have Fire 1 programmed in the radio anymore. I think that Schertz swopped the radio that they use to auto dispatch with. EMS 1 is now patched to 156.015 MHz.

Right after they swopped the radios the fire department was trying to call the dispatcher on Fire 1. The dispatcher said she didn't have that channel anymore.
