772.70875 isn't a valid channel. Are you sure it wasn't 772.70625?
That might be DART WQLF480 (DALLAS AREA RAPID TRANSIT AUTHORITY) FCC Callsign Details

I'm only getting one bar on the 996XT in Bedford. Thanks for the heads-up. There's also a signal on 771.63975, that could probably be DART too. I'm unable to decode, but I think it's P25.
Ben

redhelmet, I know the newer GRE radios (600/600 & 106/197) are pretty sensitive in that area, and you can probably take a few steps on either side of that frequency and hear it. As nd5y posited, 772.70625 MHz is probably the frequency.

Looks like DART WQLF480. Getting 99% P25 signal w/PCR-500 on 772.70625. Running UniTrunker on it now. Three freqs popped up immediately: 773.20625, 774.15625, 774.40625. No traffic yet.

That's pretty interesting. When DART originally licensed these freqs, "they" announced that this would be an OpenSky system. I'm glad to hear "they" came to their senses.

Loud and clear here in Allen, as well.

Let's track it this way for awhile: DART P25

Back at work in Hurst now, with the better antenna.
I'm getting a 3 bar signal on the 996XT on 774.65625, but it's not decoding any P25 info. That should be the Carrolton site.
On 770.30625 (Carrollton) I'm getting 2 bars, and not P25 info decoding.
771.69375 is 5 bars nothing decoding
772.70625 (Dallas) 5 bars decoding info posted in previous message.

There is a good band opening this evening. I'm getting 771.69375 and The Unitrunker receiver window says OpenSky and health is 99 but I don't get a new system window for it. I doesn't sound like any of the P25 CCs around here.
