This is from a very old list. Don't know if anything has changed on it or not. As far as radio ID's, I think the "Paul" units are patrol units assigned to a patrol district and "Robert" units are patrol units not assigned to a patrol district (rovers). "Mary" units are motorcycle units (always traffic officers I think), "Tom" units are traffic officers in patrol cars. "Ocean" units are off duty officers, "Sam" units are Patrol Sgt's and I think "Lincoln" units are Lt's, "David" units may be detectives, not sure about that one.

I would concur with the above, with the addition of "John" units as Jailers, "Victor" units as civilian volunteers, "William" units as Public Safety officers, "Edward" units as Crime Scene. I have also heard "Adam" units but unsure of their assignments possibly school liaison. I am also not sure of the "David" units but I was leaning more towards a directed patrol unit.

I should clarify "William" units are Public Service officers and are civilians assigned to preform task that do not require a Police Officer.

Believe "5" is Police Headquarters and "7" is the city maintenance facility on Dick Fisher Drive, behind the Fire Admin. building.
