Default Something Strange Here...

Yesterday, I was listening to both the TxWARN P25 system and the Texas A&M University system. I suddenly began hearing what sounded like some sort of simulcast on TAMU EMS Primary on TxWARN. When the scanner flipped over to the TAMU system, I heard the same traffic coming over unidentified TGID 16, and the traffic there also seemed to be simulcasted from somewhere else. At first I thought it was Brazos County SO (the unit numbers were the same--1xx). But further listening indicated something else. I heard one unit say, "105 to base...". Another unit asked, "Do you hear these radios okay?" It sounded like some sort of maintenance channel, but what I find really strange is that it was being patched to the TAMU EMS dispatch channel. Maybe someone here in the forums can explain this one to me, because it's a total mystery.
