Hurst PD &FD went digital, are you using the frequencies in the RR Database?

Actually, if there's a fire or other incident that involves mutual aid from neighboring cities, then they still use the conventional 855.9875 analog repeater. The fire department now calls that frequency, the "Interop channel". I doubt you would hear that on the westside, since it's difficult to receive even in the Hurst area. You would probably have a better chance of hearing the digital system, since they put that repeater on a pretty tall tower. I don't know why they occasionally put public works units on 855.9875 too. They do seem to still use 855.7375 for public works, but for whatever reason, they'll switch to 855.9875 every now and then.
