Last Tuesday (1/17/12) the T1 communication link with GATRRS went done...and the Lee County, Texas, Shefiff and Giddings PD system was out...a repair team came quickly and reinstalled the line...The radio system for county and Giddings PD was OK....The scanners (106 and 197) have not received any transmission since this outage and repair....this info came from the Sheriff himself to me on 1/24/12...I have done new downloads from RR.com on both scanners and still nothing...I need you help on this...Thanks....lc2413rp... r.paskett@yahoo.com

The control channel may have changed -or- the site may be in fail-soft mode. In this mode some of the trunked repeaters are dropped back in conventional mode, maybe in this case conventional P25. Leaving your trunked site alone, Try scrolling through the frequencies one at a time to see if you hear anything.
