Default Real County Changes?

Folks,

I received a letter in the mail today indicating that Real County switched over to a new digital system. Anyone have any details?

Just a little further on this - I suspect that Real County went to the Middle Rio Grande VHF P25 system. It looks like we've identified at least one broadcasting site in Real County, but we don't have any talkgroups identified at this time for Real County...

Submissions by mail?

Is that common?

Default Real County

The 156.09 was dead silent when I was up there a few weeks ago. Sorry I cannot offer any further information. Thought it was odd it was so quiet while Bandera County was quite busy that weekend.

You might want to try TG 3995 for Real County SO. But just like 156.090 was, it may be silent for hours.

Believe it or not we get letters in the mail all the time requesting assistance, commenting on the site etc.

Kevin, is 3995 good to go for us adding into the database? This particular person had a HomePatrol so if we get that added it should fix the issue for her.

I can't confirm 3995 until my next trip out there, but that is what it was originally supposed to be.

A little late, but 3995 is confirmed as being Real County SO.

Default Real County changes

I'm even later with my observations. Sorry, I wasn't able to confirm everything. Maybe someone else traveling through in the future can. I will try again later but don't know when I will be up there again.

3995 - Real Cty. S.O. primary
4002-- Leakey EMS ? (not confirmed)
4004- Camp Wood EMS ? (but suspect Camp Wood due to the addresses units were dispatched)
4009- Real Cty. Fire (not confirmed but fire traffic within county)

Occasionally heard:
3700 - Eagle Pass P.D.
3705 - Eagle Pass tactical channel
Not sure why they were patched in from time to time.
