Default The Colony in Denton County

Can The Colony, which has moved to the PAWM system, be monitored on a digital scanner like the Pro-106?

Yes it will work.. however the decoding rate will be hit and miss at times due to the nature of this systems configuration. It is one of those nasty LSM systems that are all the rage now-a-days. Consumer grade receivers aren't designed well enough to handle them very well.

The best thing to do is load it up and see for yourself. It's different for everyone based on radio, antenna, location, weather, etc...

I dunno, I monitor PAWM from Northern Collin Co. and Southern Grayson Co. just fine using a PSR-600 and fiberglass tri-band antenna.

Well, I'm not interested in moving to Southern Grayson County to help PAWM reception.
