Hello, I was hoping someone could help,
Im looking for the frequencies for the Tom Green County Volunteer Fire Department Dispatch, and the secondary channel. Im also looking for the dec. numbers for the following talk groups for the san angelo fire department. PD2,PD3,PD4, Fire Tac6, Fire Tac7, & Fire Tac8. Any information would help. Thanks.

There appears to be a lot of stuff in your area that is not in the database.

One of these may be used for county fire:
WPNW616 (TOM GREEN COUNTY RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT 1) FCC Callsign Details
154.1600
WQX995 (TOM GREEN, COUNTY OF) FCC Callsign Details
154.1150
155.1825
155.5875
151.2725

Check the way the talkgoups are numbered:
San Angelo Public Safety Trunking System, San Angelo, Texas - Scanner Frequencies
Fire tac 5 is 549. Tac 6, 7, and 8 may be sequentially numbered aftter that and might be 550, 551, 552.

The only PD talkgroup in the database is 273. The next one is 372. The rest of the PD talkgroups could be sequentially numbered from 274.

You most likely will have to find new talkgroups yourself by running Unitrunker or a similar program for several week or more to log new talkgroups. If you can't do that then make sure your scanner is always set to search mode or open mode and lock out any talkgroups you don't want to listen to.

If any of the talkgoups are ProVoice you won't be able to hear them on a scanner. But you can with a computer and DSD. If any of them are encrypted ProVoice then you won't be able to hear them at all no matter what, but you can still track and log system activity with Unitrunker.
