Default Austin Police 'Ten Codes'

Quick question....

Can anyone give a quick rundown on the common codes used by APD / AFD? As in code 4, code 3, code 1, 10-8, 21....I have forgotten them all.

I think code 4 is all clear, or something? Is code 3 lights siren, all ahead?..... you get my question right?

I'll start this from memory.
Code 4 is all Ok as you stated.
10-20 is Location
10-21 is telephone. ("My 21 is XXX-XXXX" is the phone number.)
10-50 is a car wreck.
10-28 is a license plate.
10-99 is a warrant outstanding,(?)
10-51 is Drunk In Public (?)
32 or 10-32 is a gun.

It may be that 10-666 is the Devil Made Me Do It. (LOL...)

Hope this helps and/or gets it going. I have a list somewhere. Suggest you Google it for even more...

73,
Jon
