Had morse code on 11026 kHz around 0336z yesterday evening. Tried to use a decoder but it just spit out gibberish, so I'm hoping morse code experts here can perhaps take a listen. :D I removed dead air between the groups to keep file size down.

Audio: HDSDR_20110920_033639Z_11026kHz_AF.wav

Most of the way through it's the same old thing...

"PKL7 PKL7 PKL7 de THXU THXU THXU K"

sent rather badly many times. PKL7 is usually a shore station and ships have four letter callsigns. "DE" just means 'from'. Callsign allocation PA to PP is The Netherlands or one of it's dependancies and TH is Guatemala (which probably accounts for the dodgy code!)

Then right at the end he starts sending "ILAU DE" but then you stopped recording.

11026kHz is not in any marine band that I know of.

Hi Brandon - how did you post that Wav file? I can do jpegs thru Photobucket but I'd also like to do audio and pdf's which they won't handle.

Cheers - Martin

Hi Martin
Many thanks for the translation info.
To post the audio I use CloudApp: CloudApp
You can also download a windows client such as FluffyApp to upload directly. It works really well!
