Since this affects most of the state, I put it here.

The northwest corner of the state has been getting hammered since this morning, with several highways shut down already and more in the offing.

Blizzard warnings in effect for the southern 1/3 of WI, most of IA, northern IL and southern MN. Winter storm warnings in effect for just about everywhere else in WI, MN and IA.

NWS websites for the state:

Milwaukee - NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan, WI: The Latest Weather Information for Southern Wisconsin
LaCrosse - NWS La Crosse, WI
Twin Cities - National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen, MN Forecast Office
Duluth - National Weather Service Forecast Office - Duluth, MN
Green Bay - NWS Green Bay, WI

Keep an ear to county highway departments, State Patrol and county Sheriff departments for information as it's happening.

Any good feeds? I can't imagine Mikwaukee will have blizzard conditions.

I have had 2 10-50's already today, and that was just driving around town running errands! No call out's though. Most of the accidents are non-injury thankfully!

I-94 was impassable earlier in Eau Claire county with 3 foot drifts and now I-94 is being closed to new traffic at this time between Hudson and Tomah.

Unknown about the feeds...can't access them at the moment. It's hard to tell on the mobile site from my Crackberry because they are county-based.

Any feeds from the SW, WC or NW part of the state may be worth a listen.

Thanks - I've picked at random but nothing too noteworthy so far. I'll leave a note if I do find a good one.

I am listening to the West Central Feed, and I herd that it's actually not passable all the way to the MN state line now.

SW MN sucks!! Snowed in here... The plows aren't running, roads are closed, even the local cops went home for the night.

There's really nothing on feeds because people took the warnings and stayed home. I've been monitoring most of the surrounding counties and it's been quiet.

Barron and Washburn Counties have issued a No-Travel Warning and they plows have stopped plowing for now.

Around here it's tag team with the plows, the occasional new wiper or hydraulic hose on a plow truck. Local PD has doubled up so a pair of officers per car; but they did get a DUI that had an extraditable warrant. Been about as active as it's gotten around here on the radio. SD sent many officers home with the take home cars, "on call" I'm sure but only a handful left active (those with SUVs mainly), and they're just working the accident reports and cars in ditch on the interstate.

Seeing as this really didn't hit until 15 hours after it was supposed to arrive here on the east side of the state, I think many where adequately prepared and ready to head the warnings as was mentioned.
