Hi All,
Does any one know in the channel list on an APCO 25 system, Colorado's Squaw site, I get a channel of #13-0666. What is this?
A prefix of 13 means bad luck. Channel 0666 is reserved for talking to Satan (which makes the 13 prefix redundant).

Seriously ... I don't know but consideration the channel list is ALL known channels across ALL sites.

On which site does this channel appear?

Does prefix 13 show up in the bandplan for that system?

This is an 800 mhz site so at a minimum you will see prefix 0 (for 800 mhz channels) and probably prefix 1 (for 762 mhz channels) in the list of band plans. There may be others for VHF or UHF.

I knew it, the Colorado DTRS system is possessed...

I have the receiver locked on one control channel, off the Squaw site 001-006. It does not scan any other sites as there are no other sites that I can receive well.

13 does not show up in the bandplan for the system, just 0 and 1. No UHF or VHF on this system. In the channels screen, it does show up, with one hit and no frequency.

Thanks
Mike

It is probably a fluke. Is the first/last seen time stamp the same for this channel? If you don't see any additional activity, you can delete the channel.

Also, how many sites are listed in the Stes view? Even though you're monitoring one site, the control channel will announce the presence of neighbor sites (w/ their active control channels) so don't be surprised to see more than in the Sites view.
