I've been using a GPS puck when traveling and always had a problem with the lighter plug-in losing connectivity. Happened with different vehicles. I
spread the ground tabs so plug would be tighter in the plug. A little wiggle to the power cord and would get power back. Cleaned fuse ends and areas that
the fuse contacted and still had issue. Well, a bit of rummaging I found an old cell phone charger that had a longer tip on the power cord. Unscrewed the fuse cap, installed the longer tip and problem solved. This bit of info just in case someone else might have the same issue. :)

The only reason I stopped using my GPS function of the 436HP and SDS 100 was the damn plug. However, I have wires running everywhere in the car. Good for you. Hopefully, this will work for you. Now, I just enter the zip code. Most of the time, I've already programmed the trip.
