151.160 p25 ?????

I was between North Platte Nebraska and Paxton Nebaska teh other day and on frequencey 151.160 was a p25 voice in the clear. They were runninng a liscence plate check. Have any idea wha law enforcement agencey this might be?? Is it possible to be a DNR channel?? Thanks for the help.

That doesn't appear to be a frequency on NWIN, so that rules out the State Patrol, Game and Parks and Lincoln County sheriff.

What was the call sign of the unit and who did they call?

The FCC data base shows 3 licenses to the state of Nebraska for the state wide trunking system so I am sure that is what you heard. I did not take the time to research where the 3 sites are.

You most likely heard the transmission from a NSP Trooper or Lincoln County SO. 151.1600 is one of the 3 "input" frequencies for the N-WIN North Platte Site.

My bad, I didn't see that freq one the table I linked to above. I bet Irvington is spot on. NSP or LCSO.
