Hello all!
Newly licensed HAM operator here ad always learning. I started off with a IC-7300, running a OCF Dipole, and a DX commander. I recently recived a few radios from a estate and wanted to keep one of the radios and add to the shack, (FT DX 3000). Currently I have both antenna fed lines coming into a 2 way switch then out to the 7300 so I was able to switch between the two. Is there a way i can bring both antennas in, then select what radio I want to operate, and what antenna I want to use without blowing up the other when transmitting?

Thanks.

the line out to the 7300 connect to another 2 way switch and then that switch outputs connect to each radio

So we can check the specs on your current 2-way coax switch, please provide manufacturer and model number. That will enable us to see if we can reuse the switch. Not all switches have the needed isolation for the final design.

Other option is to just make a small patch panel.
2 ports going to the radios
2 ports going to the antennas

2 jumper cables will let you swap radios/antennas.

I never had any trouble with MFJ switches, all two and four position models. (1704B and 1702B)

Indeed! - Two Alpha Delta 2B switches back-to-back will work. One switch to choose the antenna which feeds the other switch to choose which radio it goes to. Alpha Delta I think has >60dB isolation on HF. Check their specs of course.
