I was always worried about hanging a handheld over the AC vent. I know here in Florida in the summer months I have the AC turned up all the way were you see the cool air blowing into the cab of the car. Would this cause any moister problems to the radio with all that cold air hitting the back of it and the taking it from a cool car to outside where it's warm?

Well, for moisture to condense inside of the case, there has to be some already in there. I think many of these radios are sealed up enough such that any condensation that forms will not cause a fault. I could be wrong, but it's probably a good idea not to mount them there. I am more worried about running the heat near my radios, they don't need to be any warmer than the eternal electronics make them.
