• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

1. The Blue Angels DID NOT fly today. The lead pilot ate something bad last night and got food poisoning so they scrubbed 20 minutes before they were to fly. So today's tickets are good again for tomorrow and I'll bet the parking and seating will be rather exciting.

2. Upon arrival there was plenty of traffic on Ground 121.850 MHz as visitors landed and made their way to Transient Parking. When the show started the Air Boss was on 119.150 MHz directing everything. Very interesting. It was there that I learned the Angels were scrubbing before the announcer spilled the bad news.

3. Plenty of great flying hardware to see. U-2, KC-10, C-5A, KC-135, F-16, F-18, F-22, F-35, two UPS jumbos, and many, many great old warbirds including Fifi the B-29.

Back again tomorrow.

Bruce....

They had talked on 119.150 before the last Golden Knights jump that the last performance (the Blue Angels) might be scratched for today. After that they said they had only delayed it but then later on canceled it altogether.
