Scanning a file. Under General Settings put a check mark in the boxes for "to both and record audio". Then set your directory location right under "limit record time"
You can also set customizable search ranges under the "SRCH/SWPR Objects" tab

I keep multiple scanners logging/recording 24/7 on VHF Low band.
I have several files but the one I use the most is just a file of known frequencies.

Is the military the exclusive user of 150.0 PL?
Probably. I haven't heard of any commercial LMR equipment that allows programming anything but the EIA standard PL tones and 150.0 isn't one of them.

Some CCRs like Baofeng allow custom programming of any PL tone from 60.0 to 259.9 Hz but they don't cover low band.

There's a KNJN-759 on that frequency in Athens. Alabama Department of Corrections. Could that be your catch?

That was likely it. Could be a problem with whatever is keying their ID. The CW is exactly as transmitted.

My station in Alabama is located near enough to two prisons to received their lowband comms. Up until year or so ago they both sent IDs in CW a couple of times an hour but in the last year nothing. They may not be using the radios anymore, or making sure the low band radios send an ID every 30 minutes may not be a priority.

There's a KNJN-759 on that frequency in Athens. Alabama Department of Corrections. Could that be your catch?
