300ma or 500ma

Hey guys just received my 106 very very very happy although my only questiion is do I ,have to use 500ma ac to dc to recharge my batteries as recommended in the owner's manual or can i still use my 300ma that I currently have for my 96,also looking at scannermaster site they have the 300ma for accesories for the 106 very confused thanks

i would assume the 500mah is recommended since that is what comes with the gre psr500. the 300mah would probably work just fine but might run a little warm

300mA vs. 500mA

I just got my PRO-106 today, I also questioned the AC to DC adapter, as far as which one.
From what kayi4cle said about his adapter from the PSR-500 I'm assuming that my 500mA from my PSR-500 will work for the PRO-106. I went to two "SHACKS' today and they dont even carry a 9V/500mA adapter.

i just went to best buy and bought a Jenson universal adapter, it is 500mA and i have been using it for almost a year about 8-12 hrs a day and have not had a problem. i paid 20 dollars for it. oh and i have a pro-106.
