Looks like the Boca P25 site 7 is currently being built out. Unitrunker is showing 4 or 5 channels in the system with 854.6625 as the control channel. I'm sure additional freqs will be added in the next few days.

Yeah they just got approval to build a 180 ft tower on the golf course by Glades and the turnpike. A few shorty antennas on the small tower there now.

Signal is much better to the south. Getting a solid CC lock on a G5 with the factory antenna in a cup holder on the Turnpike at Sunrise Blvd.

Yes, correct. I heard the Boca PD dispatcher on one of the LE Comm channels saying that they have that LE channel till Monday. The only activity today on the Boca site was a radio tech testing, no normal traffic. Also, most of the testing on the PD Tgrp was ENC of course.

Yeah I’m told the PD will be running DES encryption and Fire-Rescue will be in the clear. PD using DES on LE COM 6 now.

Any thoughts on why the users on the PBCO P25 P2 appear “unknown” on both of my SDS 200 and 436 ? I have updated both radios with the latest FW and DB and are in ID search mode ?

The RX signal on the system has greatly improved...great RSSI. But talk-in needs a bit of work in my opinion.
