396 issue - turning unit on

When I turn my scanner on lately it automaticly goes to the program screen. I have to manually hit scan, but once I do I lose the program feature. I have to shut it off and back on to get into programing. Is this a bug or should I reset/reboot software? thanks

I'd try reloading the latest firmware.

Sounds like a stickey Function key (Top key on the left side of radio).

It sounds like your MENU key is stuck.

FYI Update..... It was the menu key sticking that was the issue. thank you to all that responded

I worked the button numerous times. This was after I reloaded the firmware update.
