Just received my screen protector from bestskinsever.com and took a couple of minutes to put it on the scanner. Worked perfect and the size was a perfect fit. Any one who want's to order one, these are the dimentions.
Width=38 mm
Height=51 mm
Corner Rdius=0

Sweet! Thank you. I made a template and used it to cut out some screen protectors from an old cell phone.
Works well enough, but I was hoping someone made one for our SDS100.

Did you choose the glossy or matte finish?

You're welcome I go on the road with mine quite a bit taking it in and out of my pocket so I need some protection from scratches also be advised when you order your screen protector they sent two of them they also have YouTube videos on how to do it

Received the following email reply from Michael H at Best Skins Ever in response to my inquiry about glossy versus matte finish for the SDS100:
"The matte can distort the screen clarity a bit but how much varies from device to device. We typically recommend the glossy but we actually decided to eliminate the matte option on the SDS100 based on customer feedback."

Well, that just simplified my buying decision!

Now if Santa could just help me decide if Scanner Master's SDS100 soft leather case is the best choice?

I did that when I got my radio over a year ago. It's still in place and is working great. I see no reason to spend money on a more expensive one.

I've used the Scanner Master cordura nylon case on my 436Hp and based on that bought one for my SDS100. It's a bit heavier, but I think provides better protection than the soft leather case. It's also more pliable than the hard leather case.

Just the type of actual use information I was looking for.
Thanks.

Steve (and others), I'm going to order the same screen protector for my SDS100.

Now that you have installed them, can you confirm that 38mm x 51mm was the best size to order?

When I measure mine, it seems like 37 x 50 would be better since they recommend a small (1mm) gap between the edge of the skin and the area you're covering.

Thanks for your input!

I got custom-made protectors the day after my SDS100 arrived. I "ordered" them from the drawer in an end table in my den, cut one to perfect size and it's still on the job. They were paid for a long time ago when I got my first Samsung cell phone.
