408.2125 is likely Metropolitan Detention Center Brooklyn Trunking System, Brooklyn, New York - Scanner Frequencies
but only you will be able to tell, with the right scanner to decode the SysID, TG's, other voice channels, Connect Tone or NAC etc

With her being in Yaphank on Eastern LI, 408.2125 could also be the Federal Correctional Institution Danbury. She is about 55 miles LOS to Brooklyn and 45 to Danbury

the 406.187.5 was in the clear ...not too much in that
range 405-419 in the clear anymore so I was kinda
surprised to hear it! transmissions are brief so not easy.

Well that rules out the prisons, as they run P25 Voice.

Going to now go with an image. Also what radio are you using ?
in some of your past postings you have two decimal points when listing frequencies, which makes me think, this is not a scanner

My experience in tuning around that frequency range with my R7000 is a lot of weak constant or pulsing carriers with beeps, chirps or digital sounds. All appear to be incidental radiation from my own or neighbors computers and electronic devices. The fact that I am using a discone in the attic makes me susceptible to "in house" generated interference. But, what you listed may be legitimate signals.

I use DSD+ and some other programs with the discriminator output from my R7000 to analyze digital signals and kgtone for PL/DPL.
