Anyone know what this is? I believe it is OPP as I hear London Comm center. I checked the data base and it says it is the beat repeater. My question is were does London OPP have a beat that they would use this frequency? Thanks.

What is the closest town/city nearest to you (where does the signal come in the strongest?)

This is probably where it's located then. What units do you regularly hear on it? What Ops talkgroup is talking on there? That'll give you an idea as to where it's used.

A location would help us out a lot here.

Think of all the locations that the London Comm Centre dispatches for and then think of how many are small towns where the officers "walk the beat".

Paris, Ontario is one example. Simcoe might be another area.

I can pick up a beat repeater in the Ingersoll area as well.... not quite sure where it's actually in use.

I know for sure there are Beat repeaters in use full-time in Ingersoll and Paris and possibly Simcoe.

Thanks For the replys.
Location is hard to pin down, as they rarely give locations, I did hear them talk as if they were near Queens Park. The audio is very low and it is hard to make them out some of the time. Also it seems like they really don't use it a whole lot, either that or I am picking it up because of atmospheric conditions.
I am using a Pro 2006, I have not bought a digital radio yet. I have hooked up a better set of speakers to bring the audio up, so maybe I can learn more.
I believe the input of 413.5375 is 418.5375. I don't hear anything on that one.
As far as walking the beat, Wausaga, Grand Bend, but not at this time of year, and I have never seen OPP walk any beat after summer is over. I thought that maybe if they were out of the car they would use frequency 410.8625 the car repeater.
Anyway I will keep listening and update if anyone is interested.
