Missouri Highway Patrol, uses that frequency for a few Troops but with a different PL Tone.

Troop C South Dispatch 186.2 PL
Troop D West Dispatch 203.5 PL
Troop I (Backup) No PL Listed, but I've never heard it used

42.120 is GOLD in Sacramento with 179.9
42.120 is BRONZE in Oakland with 131.8

I get so much "skip" or interference on that freq I keep the attenuator on and have the above programmed. Gold is used in other parts of the state, but I do not show any CHP offices using 100.0 as a PL tone.

just because it doesn't list a PL doesn't mean it isn't one of those. not saying it is either. :)
Well, here's a more "local" list of sources on that frequency. Of course PL tones are not listed.

Also, can someone tell me how to do that "US frequency" search? I see no (obvious) link for it from the database page. All the searches require either a state or some other piece of info beside the frequency.

Thanks,
George

George,

The RR database search supports an any state check in the top area labeled "Search for Identified Radio Data." Open up one of the drop-down menus with a state name and you'll find "- All United States -" at the bottom of the list.

The "Search for FCC License Data" blocks don't seem to have this so I always go straight to the source here:

Thanks Dan

Thanks Dan!!!

I was looking through the pulldowns, but not the right one. When all "53 states" are listed, there should be a 54th option for all states .. and perhaps even a 55th option for federal frequencies.

Best regards.

Did you happen to identify any callsigns or anything mentioned?

Mississippi Highway Patrol uses 42.12 as a dispatch freq but its on 94.8 hz.
