I have both a 436 and a 536 but use the 436 in the car. When I plug in the 436 into aux everything is good but as soon as I plug in the gps puck with power I get a humming noise in the speakers is this normal?

I take the gps is running of car power? If so then it likely the cause a ground loop audio isolator will take care of that. I have a similar probelm with mine whe. I plug into pc to charge and have the audio going to mixer that take the sound from my scanner, pc and tv and feeds it to one speaker.

Yes. What I do is place it right before it goes into the mixer. In your case right before it inputs to the car. That way if the cable is adding any noise it gets rid of it as well.

It worked simple fix thanks!!
