Just came downstairs to find my scanner stopped on a blisteringly strong data signal on 452.6250 mHz. That freq is a channel I forgot I had programmed eons ago... and it's been dead. Until just now. I don't have a digital scanner so can't provide a NAC or further ID, but it sounds (by ear) like a Kenwood NEXEDGE Wideband Control Channel. The freq is listed in the db as belonging to Industrial Electronics, so no surprise here in NE PA. However, this is the first time I've heard anything on that frequency... and it was STRONG. Still there.

Industrial Electronics doesn't have a license for that
frequency. The following do:

WPMV811 Robert Conway Hazelton
Trunk sys 8K30F1E (NXDN)

WPMW695 Robert Conway-Pecks Pond (Pike Co)
Trunk sys 8K30F1E (NXDN)

WQVG656 Stabillis Split Rock Resort
Lake Harmony (Carbon Co)
Repeater 7K60 (TRBO)

-------
You didn't say where you were in NEPA. This search was for
100 mile radius of Scranton.. Good Luck

After more digging, I see Mr Conway and Industrial
electronics seem to be one and the same. The licenses
are in his name......

They are one in the same Industrial and Conway and would not surprise me since they are offering Nexedge to customers but believe they are part of another company as well.

The Split Rock is still analog they are using the same radios but have a mix in supply some departments have newer radios other still old radios no digital yet.

To provide the needed Wide Area coverage you will find (YMMV) that the radio shops will cooperate and form a partnership with multiple shops handling the other towers in the Wide-Area network
