453.550 National Law Enforcement Common???

In regards to 155.475

That is an active frequency here in Illinois.

It is called ISPERN and the ISP use it to put out APB type broadcasts as most police cars and police stations have this frequency.

I've never heard of 453.55 as a common channel either.. I don't think the LoJack frequency should be on that page either.

It looks like this page has alias' for frequencies that might belong to a certain area. Not the whole country..

This has nothing to do with the other UHF, low band, high band, 700 MHz or 800 MHz nationwide interoperability channels. They are all well known and doucumented.

Nd5y is correct. I see no indication in my db that this is anything other than a public safety freq. licensed to many departments across the country.

"Facepalm" - Got it now. I was thinking of "Common" as in a specific frequency labeled for interop communications, not a commonly licensed frequency.
