I've heard car to car communication several times on 460.550 along the Connecticut River in eastern Essex County, Vermont. I believe it's Essex County county sheriff deputies. This time I was able to capture the transmit codes. One vehicle was transmitting with 136.5 and the other was using 79.7. They must not be using any code for receiving. New Hampshire uses 136.5 on their analog system. I haven't been able to track down the sheriff's departments new in house repeater frequency. They continue to communicate with VSP St Johnsbury and Derby.

Hi guys,

Sorry to revive an old thread, but was hoping someone local could clarify for me. I’m getting ready to send my sister, who lives in rural Lamoille County, a receive only radio to monitor the County Sheriff. In the database, I see both an analog and a digital primary Law Dispatch. Can anyone confirm which is actually used?

Thank you!
