I am hearing a trunked type sound on 463.38125 . I hear it out of Ofallon, MO and can hear it around the St. Louis area strong.
Is this the Illiniois Power in Calhoun CO. IL? What type of system is this?
I can hear it here in Chesterfield as well. I think it may be Illinois Power as I can also barely hear similar sounding data on 463.40625 which is another frequency listed under the same WQLK903 license that 463.38125 is licensed under.
My bet is that it is some type of telemetry for remote sub-station monitoring. Ameren does the same on this side of the river but I think the data sounds much different.
That frequency is also listed under a O'Reilly Auto Parts license. O'Reilly's licenses have been going through a bunch of changes lately so I guess that is a possibility but I still think you are correct about it being IP.
I've put all the frequencies in for both the IP and O'Reilly licenses and will see if I hear any other traffic on them.
