DENVER – Firefighters say a fire destroyed a home Sunday night.
It happened at 62 Alcott St. in Denver.
Thirty-six firefighters responded. Firefighters say it took 15 minutes to knock down the fire and 43 minutes to get it under control.
A caller reported that people were inside the home, but firefighters did an extensive search and did not find anyone.
"(It is) very fortunate that no one got hurt in this fire," said Denver Fire spokesperson Lt. Phil Champagne.
