6m dipole ?

What is a good height for one of these dipole antennas ?.....
Have did some research on this but like to see what heights you all have yours at...

I know this is the scanner section, but mine is for transmit. I built mine, and mounted it vertically between two trees to keep an omni-directional pattern. the lowest part of the dipole is approximately 12' off the ground, and it does pretty well when things open up.
