Which scanner?

For a handheld, the Radio Shack 800MHz antenna works well, as does the Remtronics (I believe that they make the one Radio Shack sells).

I have this antenna it works great. MSWIN has a few 800MHZ ( old 800
MHZ TRS sites that were converted to MSWIN) so this will work great, if anybody knows of a better antenna let me know.

Will order the remtronix rem 800b, for the Uniden 436.

The Remtronix looks a lot like the 800 MHZ they sold at the shack that was made by GRE.

I believe Remtronix manufactured that antenna for RS and GRE and just put their names on it. The also have one with the SMA connector.

I still have they one from RS, it worked great on 800MHZ and ok for 700 MHZ
