The last two evenings I have scanned through the 450-470 and 851-862 areas looking for some digital data to decode. I found plenty of it. I hope others are finding stuff and reporting back to the DB for any corrections. It appears the opening is from Iowa to the East. Hearing WESTCOM and Dallas County was a struggle.

Here are my results:

ISICS: WESTCOM, Dallas Co, Des Moines 700MHZ sites

CIRPSCS: All 8 sites.

StarCom21: 57 sites, almost all 800mhz, but a couple were 700mhz.

AmerenMissouri P25: 10 sites, 7 were out of state. Unable to positively ID 2 of them. I sent my logs to the admin's in MO and hopefully they can piece the puzzle together.

Alliant's new DMR system: 29 sites, all but 1 were not IDed.

Department of Corrections: I was able to hear Mitchellville and Fort Dodge, but too much noise to decode anything. Anamosa was better.

Corn Belt Power(450-470): I heard from 7 of their sites.

Davenport Public Works: Heard all three sites.

Iowa City Public Works: Heard the one and only site.

I logged some other various DMR type systems, but they are generally for business only so I do not spend much time decoding those. I tried VHF, but no enhanced conditions were found.

Happy Scanning!

I was getting the Iowa City-Cedar Rapids area Highway Helper at full scan last night and I was hearing Muscom's sites too, unfortunately I couldn't stay at it.
