Any one have any idea what type of tx's are going on here. I'm getting full scale on the s meter on this freq in Arizona City/ Casa Grande area. I don't know if its a trunked system or some sort of other data. Fcc lookup provides no hits.

Is anybody outside of my area picking anything up on that freq? Sounds initially like a CC then quits for 1/2 second or so then three or four shorter bursts then stops and repeats all over again.

This one has been disturbing me for years, all the way over in Western North Carolina. I located this old thread. A simple F.C.C., one frequency search turns up nothing. So, I finally took the time to do a wide search for 940.8600 through 940.7000. Surprisingly only one hit arises, KNKV210. It is licensed to SPOK Incorporated (formerly USA Mobility). They have nationwide use licensed for the band of 940.8500 through 940.9000. The license is for PCS narrowband (two way paging and telemetry).
I realize this is a very old thread, but 940.8625 has been a daily itch I have been unable to scratch for a long time during limit searches. Now I know the culprit. Thank you for your time in Arizona.
