996xt and butel arc xt question?

Ok I have a 996xt and I do a search with it using the software.Problem is sometimes it logs the frequency with the PL and sometimes it doesnt.Whats at fault the radio or the software?

If the transmission is short the software may not log it. Depending on the settings the software will only increase the hitcounter.

Click the 'Log Settings' tab and then select 'Log Detected Subtones'.
