I haven't listened to railroad radio for quite a while, so I need a bit of an update. I am located in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul MN area and I am going to program a handheld for receive only monitoring and scanning.
Is there much activity on AAR-107-196 yet? What I am thinking of right now is simply programming in AAR 007-097 and then creating a scan list of the ones that seem to be of greatest interest.
Does anybody here happen to know which of the AAR channels around the Twin Cities MN Are likely to h ave the most activity or where I should check to find out?
Also, what is the latest on NXDN use, particularly in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul MN area? I the last time I listened to the railroads there wasn't any NXDN usage yet.
