I FINALLY got the Siren app for Android...Thank You Lord!!... LOL
So just a quick question from a fairly new scanner enthusiast. What is the difference between using Infrastructure mode versus Access Point mode and why would I choose one over the other? I can't seem to find this info anywhere. Thanks

Android app was just released so some of us are just getting to set it up and use, and when I did a search I got zero results.

Access Point Mode allows you to connect directly from the scanner to the phone/tablet without a wireless router involved. Think maybe having the scanner in the car and wanting to control with a smart phone/tablet like a remote head.

Infrastructure Mode is what you would use when there is a wireless router involved. Scanner AND phone/tablet would connect to the wireless router and then communicate with each other.
