When using SDS100, 200, or even BCDHP436-536, you set your zip code and range to 0.0.

Then, select "Add current dB channels" to a new favorite list.

However, it seems to pull in the systems, but it includes ALL sites, even though when scanning the full database, it only scans the sites within the 0.0 range set by the zip code.

This seems to be a bug, doesn't it?

I know I can edit and delete those extra sites, but it seems to defeat the purpose. I also understand that I can create a favorites list and import it using the software. However, it would be nice to have the option to do this directly from the scanner.

Yes, I understand that. However, the scanner or software should not behave this way. It seems like a bug; has anyone reported this to Uniden?

Upman's recommendation was:
You don't need to delete or avoid them if you are using location control. Just put in your location. The scanner will only check the sites that meet the location/range criteria.

Understood. Utilize the Location setting in the saved favorites.
