I just happened to turn on my Grundig 800 last night to listen to some AM radio, when it landed on some voices on the HF band. I quickly grabbed my Droid 4 phone to record whatever was coming out of the speaker. I heard AF "Rescue 212" talking to Moffett Field in the Bay Area, via a phone patch through Offutt AFB. Apparenly they were nearing the northern part of the Mexican Coast at the end of their rescue mission and getting ready for descent into Miramar Airfield.
