1002 active today (non-encrypted) on site 098.
Had a 501 agency dispatcher working AHS on "Mutual Aid 12" - I think I heard Red Deer named. The dispatchers set up the channel and that was the last I heard of them "I will set up the conference". I was looking at the published list and I don't see a listing for 1002.

Finally bagged Alberta Environment on 4046.

1022 is indeed Red Deer AHS MA 12. Not sure about Agency 501, 500 is Red Deer Fire.

I downloaded my recordings from one of my scanners after hearing them on that channel and I saw only one radio ID for all (fire) transmissions, 5001002. That leads me to believe it's a patch and possibly a console ID.

Hi Jay - Thanks for that - I was logging with pen & paper so I think I may have made an error in the RID. I need to get Trunker up and running again (after 20 years)- I will have to get an SDR dongle so I'm not making any more errors.

I'm wondering if what Mike heard was a test by Red Deer Tier 2 users on a Mutual channel. Tier 1 being Fire, Police and CPO and Tier 2 being Public Works ect. A number of cities have different agency numbers for Tier 1 and Tier 2 users.

I believe 3498 is an ALERT talk group. On the radio id was the Agency number 410?

985 is the new Emergency Alert (EA) for AHS CCC which is EMS Dispatch in the Central area based in Edmonton. It replaces province wide EA group 1101.

I believe about two weeks ago as they were chatting about it on the Westlock CET group. I can usually get B15 consistently here but no more. Morinville about a week ago and more discussion on Sturgeon CET. You live near Westlock are they not switched yet?

I have not been listening lately. Been too busy.

Too bad. Especially for B4.

Are the RCMP talking on the CETs? I thought I had heard a rumor their codeplug did not include CETs. I've been racking my brain on how to maintain comms with them.

They are certainly talking on the CET's. For Moriville I heard an RCMP member and a CVE unit trying things out. They both also have AFRRCS Simplex 1 to 5 in the clear.

I think it was fort Mc Murray I was getting

Ft McMurray was one of the first to switch to AFRRCS. If you are listening to your radio in Edmonton you are most likely hearing Ft. Saskatchewan on A2. B6 also on that frequency is down near Bashaw and Camrose. Are you able to set PL tones on your channels if so that would narrow down the search. A2 has a CTCSS Tone of 123.0

At this point I'm not sure I'd discount anyone "hearing" any RCMP groups on AFRRCS from anywhere in the province. I went over my PRO96COM logs this morning and saw lots of logged data for the Red Deer City RCMP channel and some of the other new channels in that region, on a Calgary tower.

Sounds like Medicine Hat fire dispatch link to 867.55 is now off the air.
I heard Redcliff Fire today on 4014.
I’m really new to this system so forgive me for such few details.

Thanks for the info. Have you, by chance, heard if any other FDs are on 4014, or are they on other 40xx groups? In other words is 4014 dedicated to Redcliff and say 4013 is "the Hat" proper, and 4015 is somebody else, etc?
