    We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

    If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

The Aiken HAM repeaters have gone thru a few changes. Many of those changes are NOT reflected in the current ARRL Repeater guide(of course) and also changes have not been made to many Ham Club web site listings. The below is current, please update your files as you see fit.

- Aiken repeater 145.17 is not on the air, and has been de-installed

- Aiken repeater N2ZZ, 145.35 - has changed its tone from 100hz to 156.7hz and is still an EchoLink node

- Aiken repeater KR4AIK-B, DSTAR, 443.4125 + is on the air, and is connected to the DSTAR internet

- Aiken repeater KR4AIK-C, DSTAR, 145.16 - is on the air, and is connected to the DSTAR internet
