I believe you're referring to Rescue Air 1, which is a 5-helo air ambulance service out of Atlanta. They have a helo based in Union County (Blairsville), Ga, which is south of the Murphy (N.C.) area.
The service was acquired by Omniflight last fall, and - I believe - was at one time associated with the Baptist Lifeflight program.
A quick look under Rescue Air, Omniflight, and Baptist on the FCC ULS database revealed no licenses under those names ... although someone named John (the) Baptist had a license in the database.
As far as heko communications with their base, they may be using Southern Linc or the GEWIN trunked system.
If you don't get an answer regarding frequencies on this forum, CCFire, send an e-mail to Larry Van Horn at Monitoring Times Magazine. I'm not sure if he lurks on this forum, but, being in Brasstown, he is likely aware of the helo's protocol for communications to / from local hospitals and landing zones. He's also a very nice guy, and helpful when a hobbyist has a question.
