Hey guys, got an BCD396T that I want to bring to work (I work at an airport). So I'm going to have it on my belt all the time and I don't want something jabbing into my side the whole time.

So is there something that has good reception but is still fairly small?

If you're listening to the airport, and you work at the airport, won't the stock antenna be good enough?

If youre working at the airport, you wont need much. Something to consider since youre in a high "RF" area is the stubby RS antenna. I have one I use on my 396 when I get into RF "congested" areas and it does pretty good. With the small stub its perfect for being on the move.

They might call it the "Nascar" antenna...but it's a little 1 inch duck w/BNC connection. The 396 has a neat look to it with the stub on board.

Check it out......for a few bucks what do you have to lose?
