Airplane crash

An aircraft crashed off of Ocean City about 15 minutes ago. From what I saw on flightradar24.com it was about 3 -4 miles off of the coast. I looked at the track and it was a straight line from the Great Lakes to the crash. The engine appeared to stop just past ACY. I heard ZDC, 133.125, try to raise the pilot then ACY approach, on 1246.6 and 121.5, tried do the same, both with no luck. They sent a couple of F-16s from ACY and ACY approach vectored them to the area.

... on NJSP C-3 Marine Dispatch channel... State Police are sitting over a large oil slick and debris field 17 miles off AC in 50 feet of water... only small pieces and no survivors... called it in around 3:30...

A Mooney M20 from Michigan. When I first saw them on flightradar24.com it was at 28K'.
It looked like the decent started about over ACY maybe a little farther east.
