I have noticed an inconsistency between the way frequencies are categorized at different airports.

In some cases, the categories are ATC and airlines.

In others, ATC and businesses.

For airline listings, some group air ops and ramp ops while others separate them.

It tends to make a visual search a little more challenging. It seems that it would also mean that DB downloads would place the same types of listings into different Systems or Departments for different airports, which would make scanning inconsistent as well.

Airports should be listed as a separate agency for the county in question. Port authorities operating one or more airports should have an individual agency page with a separate category for each airport. Counties which do not have a port authority (simply one or more smaller airports) should have a general "Airports" agency page with each smaller airport listed as a separate category.

Frequencies should preferably be subcategorized as follows (for larger airports):

Aviation - Air Traffic Control (function tag "Aviation") - frequencies specific to ATC for that airport; this also applies to MilAir ATC frequencies.
Aviation - Aero Enroute/ARINC (function tag "Business") - company frequency used by the airline at that airport.)
Fixed Base Operators (function tag "Business") - LMR or airband frequencies used by the companies who handle fueling, de-icing and so on.
Airline Ground Operations (function tag "Business") - LMR frequencies used by airlines at airports and other ground operations, typically ramp and baggage handling.

Frequencies specific to military operations at a military air base shared with a civilian airport should be listed as a separate subcategory under the appropriate airport.

Since they're regional in nature, a TRACON (Terminal Radar Approach Control) should be a separate agency under the state in question.

If you've found some which aren't categorized properly, please make a list and submit for correction using the "Submit" tab under the county or airport in question.
